Wiring up boot popper

I bought this boot popper from Supernovas.

It has 5 wires:

Brown
White
BlackWhich are taped up, and

Green
BlueThe popper never came with fitting instructions so I'm just doing some homework. Do all wires need connecting?

I'm going to connect the popper to the wiper toggle switch which will be activated by the washer jet setting and not the wiper swich position (for those without a hatchback. The rear wiper switch has a fixed position to keep the wiper on and a momentary switch which flicks back so the washer jet isn't constantly on) This'll make sure the boot poper isn't always 'on'.

just connect the blue to an earth and the green to a live the other wires are for alarm/central locking
(blue and green may be the other way round was a few weeks ago that i fitted mates one)

what Napalm says, the white/brown/black are signal cales for central locking and alarm

connecting the blue and green either way will work, but when you connect them the other way the selonoid will move the other way
