which profile tyres?

right i'm just wanting know what size profile tyres will go on vectra sri twin spokes 16's without rubbing on the arches car is lowered 40mm
the wheels came with 205 55 16 tyres on when i got them and when i put them on the car i didn't even move it because they were touching the arches i was thinking a 40 profile but what do you lot think?

are the vectra wheels the right offset?

they are a 44 ml offset if iirc. 195-45 0r 195-40 to be safe.
