i know as many of you say something is only worth what someone will pay for it but i really am clueless about how much this is worth.

a couple of weeks ago i recieved a x reg saxo vtr special two tone model,
2 tone paint and nicely trimmed interior
its has 83,000 miles
serviced by me last week
recon gearbox and clutch fitted by me
new rear axle fitted by me
lowered 60mm on front
sits on 14 inch 106 gti alloys
12 months mot
3 months tax

sorry if this post is in the wrong section or offends anyone lol jus like to know how much people would call a sensible price

lol couldn't help it, but keep in mind no-ones buying modified cars at the moment, i saw an awesome VW on the bay registered in 2000 for £1800 without a single bid

you may get away with a little over book cost, or just throw it on ebay with a low start

i'd say its worth a grand at least, & if you stick it on the bay for £500 start, then it will definitely sell

i will at the end of the month must admit its quite nippy always heard bad things about these little cars but its grown on me, a griffin is calling though :) and i was offered it for a cheap price so i took it

you've usually heard it on here because of prejudice against them. they are a fast, capable small french car.

our favoured cars are made by spaniards, saxos are made by frogs..... they are remarkably similar, you could even argue that the saxo was styled to look like a mk2 nova, with that smiley grille.

they are both tinny rotboxes that can be made to drive very quickly.


saxo's aren't the problem, its the chav scum that owns them

Saxo's aren't that bad cars, most of them break because the person driving them is taking the piss. They are still worth a bit if they are good because its one of the most popular cars for young drivers.

I had 2 and they were both crap but a few of my friends owned some and they seemed to be OK.

My mum got hers with about 20K on the clock, she sold it at 39K since it spent most of its time on my driveway getting fixed, she drove about 4000 miles a year

Worth about £1200 maybe. I had a 52 plate VTR. Handling was spot on in standard form. Nothing else good to say about it. Dull, girlie french car.....
