Steering wheel puller

Hi. Does anyone have any experience of using the following item or know if it will work for a Nova steering wheel.

Got the exact same one here that ive used once. Work perfectly fine.

I borrowed one to use before. Think I must have used it wrong as the 'lip' that hooks under the wheel ate through the wheel and it got wedged in diagonally, knackering both the tool and chewing the column up a bit. lol

iirc there are two small holes in the base of the nova wheel does the two hooks go through them holes and tighten down on the steering colum ???

lol lol dont ask, seemed like a good idea the time, then woke up the next morning & realised it wasnt such a good idea after all lol lol
