If theres one thing worse than crap long days at work its ones like bank holidays. Today i decided to remove all the black waxoil i ermmm sprayed all inside the car  when it was bareshelled and sat outside yrs ago (which was a BIG mistake  ). After mucho scrubbing with the aid of some carb cleaner it looked cleanish, so then removed all sound deadening and gave it a lick of matt black paint just to tidy up the stripped rear of car :)

Personally today I replaced my broken headlamp clips (the little buggers under the lamps). Fitted some bright headlamp bulbs and de-badged my grille (which was suprisingly easy).

CP's workshop was open for business as usual.

Cambridge came over in the am and cast an expert eye over my ECU tuning attempts - fortunately I got a pass grade for that. :D Twiddled a bit better lambda readings out the fuel map and then went for a blat round the lanes to "correlate the results"
As payment he stole one of my precious 1.2 heads - bloody students

Breeny made an "early start" on fixing his car and turned up at about 2.00pm lol. We fixed the bonnet catch, the leccy windows, the light holders, replaced the bumpers, re- connected the hand brake, re- positioned the bonnet so it closed properly, re - calibrated the gear change and discovered a biiigggg fook off crack in the front cross member- :o Bastid :x

actually ben it absolutely flew off with some heat from a hair drier and a wide mouth scraper, and as for the remaining glue etc a can of carb cleaner and a few rags made for much light work, just boring lol

The strip under the rear seat and in the spare wheel well was easy, i used a kettle, that bumped off was just awkward getting into the corners under the seats and up under the pedals in the footwell.

Have got a fair bit of spreading on the paint as well where there was a few silicone residue bits left, but i am not after it perfect as will be filthy soon anyhow

Very long day as it happens, Spent it at Robs designing and building the woodwork for the boot install. We also ripped out the original apm wiring and ran new better quality cables (got a Genesis amp now :D :D :D :D ) Like all Vaux-MD projects you'll get to see nothing until it's finished tho. But it'll be worth the wait.

Nice clean shell Dan

Breeny...Breeny, hmmm, I knew a Breeny once, he was suppose to take some strut braces to Velos for me, but he forgot, he was also suppose to drop them round my house this weekend, but he must have been abducted by Aliens and then dropped off at yours CP   :P

After doing lots of work in the garden over the weekend I spent the day chilling. Should have washed my car really, but I was knackered from the weekends work. Looking good Dan.

Well after a lovely week off work i returned to work on Easter Bank Holiday Monday to spend 11 hours in a dark dingy office in the cold corner of a dirty warehouse full of alcoholic drinks in shiney bottles and cardboard cases.

Oh what fun.
I would have donated a lung to have had the time to polish my car yesterday :(
