Hayley is wimbling about going abroad on holiday somewhere. Can get a couple weeks in the caribbean for about £6-700 in some decent all inclusive resorts etc.

Problem is, I'm used to flying club class (free :d) and she's a spakker that doesn't like flying. So I'm looking to get upgrades on the flights to club class; by that I mean like BA or Virgin style club class - decent seats, free wine, good food etc. Not the "premium class" of crapflights.com where you get another 2cm leg room.

I know it'll be expensive, but I don't care, we're rich lol

Has anyone done this? All the "flight upgrade" options I can find on package sites are for 2cm extra leg room class lol

package holidays always fly out on 737's or the equivelent, therefore they dont have a business class, they just have a few seats at the front which are spaced out a bit more lol.

if you want the proper comfy planes you'll have to book your flight seperately.

As Lee said the "upper class" on package holidays are the free tv and extra 2" of legroom.

If you go through someone like opodo or expedia and book a flight/hotel package you will be able to choose proper upper class but it is 100% more usually.

For my flights to NZ at christmas was £1500 each cattle or £3500 First and i just couldnt justify an extra £4k for a leatherette seat.

My holiday to the Dominican in November for two weeks, is all inclusive and has flight upgrades (but all it was last time was a glass of sparkling wine and a vinyl seat) has cost nearly two and a half grand with Thomas Cook, good luck in the search though

Panic over, found out tonight Hayley's grandad is an ex-baggage handler so gets pretty much free club class tickets to wherever he likes now. So we'll blag some tickets off him.

Score :d

and i was about to mention getting mates rates.... unless you are famous, popular or jodie marsh, mates rates is the only way to get upgraded.. unless you are my stepdad & going on cyprus airways, because he is really tall and doesn't fit normal seats

Nice maths lol

£1500 each for 2 people= £3000

£3500 each for 2 people= £7000

£7000-£3000= £4000

Its not difficult!
