Hammerite is crap. Avoid where possible.

What would be the best thing to do to my springs then my spax coilover springs are rusty and dont look pretty lol
What ever finish you go for mate, I'd get them sandblasted first so the finish looks good

Most powder coaters offer a blasting service. Then get them coated....

My local powdercoater blasts the stuff for me.
They have a minimum price of £30+VAT.
Good results too

However the last thing they did for me where three Anti Roll Bars at £5 each (the boss was away)
Bit pointless having springs powder coated IMO
Its not like you see them!!!
And Hammerite FTW
Total worth it IMO.
Not for aesthetics but for the robustness of the protective coating.
As in, they'll be powdercoated when manufactured.
Springs come powder coated as new, it always ends up just flaking off.....

I just had some wheels done for my mates Type R (vtec yo) cost £30 per wheel. They blast, primer, coat, then laquer. Bloody good value.
