I'm looking for a half decent budget to mid range alarm for my latest hatch, it must have remote central locking and make a lot of noise if some scrote tries to get in, a built-in immobiliser is not essential but would be nice and doesn't need to be Thatcham approved or do anything like start the car or open the boot

I'm quiet competent at auto-electrics, so supply only is fine, what have people used or witnessed in use, must be new and come with instructions.
Thanks in advance

I've had a couple of Falcon Predators, been pretty good and relatively simple to install (without being TOO simple!)

I've never had a problem with the toad alarm, mine's the basic model but the ai-606 is a decent bit of kit.

I've had a look Paul but I've only ever bought one alarm and I'm not paying Clifford prices for a runabout

Just had a look on the bay think the Toad look good, don't value the car enough to pay 606 prices but there are some good kits at around £100, thanks for the help

my gsi has clifford sence and tell with outside proxcimity (sp) sensors, what a pain in the ass that is, if you fart near it it say Please back away from the vehicle!! then goes ape with two different sirens.
