Manifold Question

I got a webber 32/34 carb on a stnd 1.4 manifold. I was wondering what u all thought about this. As the manifold was designed for the pierburg 2e carb it might be restricting my 32/34.
Ive thought about grinding out the middle of the top part of the manifold where the carb sits (sorry im not good at describin things lol) So by grindin out the bridge i the manifold in theory it shud give out alittle more power not much but sum as its not using the full capacity of the carb.

I'd appreciate ur views on this.

make sure you remove ALL swarf though

perhaps have it dipped in a cleaning tank
