Mk1 clicks into a Mk2?

yeh they should fit, you will probably be missing a rev counter, and you might have to rewire the plug in.

MK1 clocks have a 12 pin connector on the back where as MK2 clocks have a 14 pin connector so check that out

Also MK1 clocks just sit in the dash whereas MK2 clocks are held in by 3 screws so check out for that as well

I think MK1 clocks work in a MK2 but they don't work the other way about...Someone would need to clear that up though...

Mk1 dials work fine in a Mk2. Put a screw in the top dash mount and bend it down, that'll wedge the dials in place.

You'll need the Mk1 connector too and splice it onto the Mk2 loom. If you have rev counter dials, I think the green wire simply goes to a spade connector on the back of the dialset.
