no it's just to buy your car,not to part ex, but they do give you part ex value of the car.

£70 for a Nova? Seems they've put their base value up by twenty quid lol

01-04-10, 12:04 PM
Even that £70 will be signficantly more than the final agreed price after they inspect if for damage, general wear and tear and then transport it away. You may end up owing them money. lol

Deal!

Jack

"We take your sh!t heap away for an unreasonable fee" doesn't quite have the same ring to it though does it lol

TBH I applaud the person(s) that came up with this scheme. If you're stupid enough to go for it then more fool you.

Does anyone remember the ads before the jazzy jingle?

Jack
01-04-10, 12:22 PM
To be honest, I don't think its ALL that stupid. Say for example you have a bog std spec DullMobile - like a focus or something. There's a gazillion other of them out there for sale, you have the hassle of advertising it, not knowing when it will sell etc. This is a guaranteed sale.

Plus, they advertise it as "before you part-ex your car, come to us"; their rates are much better (for the majority of cars) than your average part ex rate.

L14MNP

Yeah but they will give you way below market value, so if you advertised said dullmobile for less than the equivalent others it would sell IMO.

It's all about the wording/sellers flexibility (ooh err) and where it's advertised IMO.
