F10/4 to F13/5W conversion?

My 1.4 is currently fitted with a F10/4 gearbag and I have been offered a regular F13 gearbag. Other than the gearbox, do I need anything else to complete the conversion?

No, it'll bolt straight up.

I thought I read somewhere that I need to change the lever/linkage? Is this not true?

there maybe a little blocl that will need cutting off at the side of the stick

If it was originally a 1.4 no. If it's a mk1 and was originally 4 speed anyway, yes you'll need to chop the lug of the stick, so it'll move into the 5th position.

Sorry, I should said, it's a mk2 and wad a 1.0 life as standard. Previous owner chucked a 1.4 in it but kept the 4 speeder in it, so just chop of the wee White black tonthe right side of the stick?
