I tested the resistance of my Ignition leads as they have never been changed so 20years ok.

20K Ohm
(1 = longest)

1. 8.29
2. 9.54
3. 6.39
4. 5.71

Coil 3.39

What should they be at on a Nova and should I get some new ones?

does your engine work?

Those values are pretty good. Having said that a multimeter test is only shoving a few volts down them, so their behaviour at high voltage on a rainy day could still be potentially poor. The only way to show up any high tension 'leaks' is to make an HT tester using an old coil and power source.

Like the man said they are probably due for a change anyway
