Yes as seen i am still alive and kicking, first off apologies to any pm's that havent been replied to, i have been offline for a few months now due to work loads and random goings on at work.
Its not over by a long shot but i am still in the background when i can be to keep an eye on you lot lol lol
So what have i been up to. Well the eco home project is slowly gathering pace and we are getting ready to start the final working drawings which will start a whole load of paperwork before we get to break the ground.
In amongst this i have built another landrover, this time for a local charity. It involved finding a 110 county (from kent) and bringing it back to base then the usual full strip and rebuild with some added touches of my own. The base vehicle was a white county on an F plate, by christmas it was ripe for some paint ...........

Then I added the colour (normal Footdown themed colour same as my car and service landy) and started adding panels back on

After that is was just simply designing the charity theme and some chequer plate detailing and add a nice new roofrack

That alone was abit of a mission tbh with all the nasties found along the way, then the boss man was still chattering about an 18ft racing boat he had, cue another new learning curve. I get given a post code for a nice seaside village in cornwall and trundle down for a day and pick the damn thing up.
Before work commenced the old plastic walled mock booth i had got ripped out, spent abit of money on some plasterboard and celotex to make a nice warm proper booth and added loads of bright white paint.
With this done we got the boat settled in its new home and got told it needed stripping completely and after i had the repairs done it was to have a nice new coat of paint lol (this theme is slowly getting tired lol lol ), heres a pic of just after we started removing some of the screwed on bits

That is currently sat upsidedown now with the lead keel removed and fully sanded down inside and out ready for some prep and the first few coats of stuff to be added. once that is started i have to trundle to cornwall again to get the masts  whilst juggling architects and suppliers for the eco home and keeping the 2 lads i have employed busy lol lol lol
Not a bad variation for a construction project manager with no real paint/bodywork skills as such and no clue at all about boats, God i cant wait until the home kicks off and i can 'relax' back into my normal groove PMSL
