I have just this afternoon removed a complete Ashley manifold and system from a C20XE Nova that I'm stripping.

It's nice quality, and sounded really good.

The bore of the manifold is very large compared to standard, drop me an e-mail if you want some photos;

I have one waiting to go on to mine. Ashley 4-2-1 and full system to suit 2.0 16v in a Nova. Think it's 2.25" all the way through (std is 2").

Edit, found some pics in my WIP: http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1300038&postcount=550

Iain does it have the "kink" to go round the selector?

Edit, cheers for pics, still cant see if there is the kink in them though.

I'd imagine so, hard to tell on the floor but it looks kinked around there yeah.

Humm, OK, as i would be looking to get rid of the "kink" as i would think you are as well now, so i didn't want to ruin my JP stainless doing this, as it's worth more to some with a normal selector etc.

I plan to alter it to fit the car, hence why didn't want to butcher the JP and SBD stuff, then it useless to anyone els. :thumb:

If you're removing the shifter kink it might be worth thinking of a third silencer for track friendliness?

That guy speaks sense!! /\

Ashley are never the quietest of systems!!

Id cut the kink out, and weld a small silencer in......

Iain i might do that yet dude.

Turniphead! 2" is smaller so 2 1/4 is better for more flow.

Novabrad, im not fused if i have to modify it mate.

i heard that the 2 " gave better low end torque but 2 1/4 " gave better top end power?? dont know the truth in it tho:confused:

I had to file my ashley manifold down aswell although its for a 1300. wasnt very impressed with the fit but it made a notable difference I thought and sounded good. pity it just snapped in half driving home!
they also sent me the wrong exhaust system and when I returned it they didnt refund me for 2 months and after constant hassling they finally refunded me minus a restocking charge. cunts.
