search forums "textured" user name "simps" untick exact username :p
Im sure this would be a new bumper unpainted would it not?
I would be tempted to do them the same as the vinyl effect you are having pal

these r matt??? looklike have a shine to me lol
They're the shiny version that came before the pic I posted, same car :thumb:
Nothing looks good matt anything.
If your keeping the grey on the sides then keep the bumpers grey.
I actually rather liked Simps textured bumpers myself, worked very well on a VW-esque OEM+ level :)
Isn't Si's just painted black showing the std texture?

Nope, matt/textured paint :)
edit: 99% sure! Sure he'll correct me if not.
Cant be matt, its to shiney. Sure they are a gloss..

If thats where the confusion lies?
Oh, then yes sorry, i was on about the later pics.
Matt still sucks.
Personally I'd go for a colour matched (to the vinyl) base coat and a satin laquer

Personally I'd go for a colour matched (to the vinyl) base coat and a satin laquer so you and benn think to go forashine them yes im defo doing the bumpers in the same colour as the vinyl.and thinking a shine with no texture
Check all the grey/blue on Nick's car he has used a satin laquer which looks perfect imo, satin is somewhere between matt and gloss iirc

i'd definately do the bumpers gloss even though the vinyl on the side is matt, gloss bumpers will make the whole car look much cleaner, just make sure you do the door handles etc all gloss aswell to match, u could always put some bumper gel on the vinyl to make it appear a little bit shiny to match the bumpers
