i bought this nova off a good friend of mine last september and haven't done anything with it till about a month ago when i decided to pull my finger out and get it done.
it started life is a 1000cc trip then when my mate first got it. it had 1200 already fitted but it was abit slow so we fitted a 1600 on t40s it was awesome went quite well then after a year or so he started to strip it and took the engine out and i had first refusal on the shell as i new it was mint so when it i got it it as a rolling shell with full gsi interior for £150 i couldn't refuse it

so the gsi interior came out to go in the sri and the shell was left in the garage till now

bout two years ago i bought a c20xe with f20 for £180 but it was all in bits

now last week i got a chassis strengthening kit off HOCKLY

so me and deanwilko started welding it in so after a few cups of tea and a few welding burns later this is how the shell looks

we could only find two repairs one new battery tray and a small patch on the nearside rear innersill to inner arch also found a hole in the panel join on the n/s strut thats sorted now will post pics tomoro

I know it probably wasn't you but why do folk delock the drivers door but leave the passenger lock ? Seen it on a couple of Nova's...

ive got a delocked door to put on that one in the pic is fcuked ime not going to put it on till i paint the shell though

so you started a w.i.p at last. theres just the passengers inner arch to finish welding then its all done. my old 17's of the sr look wicked lol

update all the welding has been done. kev has started to smooth all the engine bay seams but our attention has been redirected to the sri as it broke down tuesday. got towed home and a hour or so later found what the problem was camshaft snapped in two.

update the bay is finished and painted ready for the xe cut the tabs off the gearbox rewired the front

thats it so far got another nova an a reg shell just got it rolling so will be bike carbs and megajolt for that one will have to get some pics of it

looking good buddy shame there wasnt no pics of the bay getting smoothed ect but some good stuf there

had half a day on the nova today got the gearbox bolted on the xe and put it in it has the solid mounts on it what a pain in the ar*e the rear took me ages to bolt up will update with pics later
