looks like one of mad mikes cars (cant remember if mad mike was off here or corsa sport, but some of you will remember him :thumb: )
not a bad price when you consider how much the nitrous kit would cost to buy on its own
Am I missing the funny bit :(
mad mike is on cs, hes welded a z20let to a 1.6 iirc.

Why has he removed the shoes and the handbrake. Surely its not going to cause that much drag?

my funny bit was removing the shoes handbrakes fitting a smaller raditor running no fan etc etc.
and replacing the front discs to solid ones?
i know i wouldnt want to do a quater mile unless i knew i could bloody well stop lol..
but yeah price is ok if broken up i suppose lol
Seems to have the name of a proper motorsport business up the side of it, not sure what the connection is.
Due to a change of circumstances i can no longer afford to go racing this year
Its because you spunked it all on a nitrous kit !!

Let's put a cinema on the roof!
this mad mike: http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=549420 , and smaller disks and no rear brakes is a common drag trick over in the us. this months ppc has an escort mk1 estate drag car with motor bike brakes.

Is just me or does any1 else think he should also remove the steering wheel to save some additional weight?

And while he's at it why doesn't he take out the drivers seat, that'll save another 10-15 kilo's. I am surprised he's missed this. Probably add £500 to the value of the car too, (less is more kinda thing)!
 Advert doesn't actually say how quickly it will do the 1/4

Also, just another suggestion i would like to make, why doesn't he swap the VTR engine for a 50cc scooter engine, i can lift one of these with one hand so have come to the conclusion it is significantly lighter than the powerplant he's using. this will shave off a lot of weight.
