has anybody made there own rally style mud flaps, any pics as i don't really like the pvc ones that are in halfrauds

Im planning to buy and experiment with the halfords/ripspeed black pvc mudflaps - cut them down to a nice o.e shape and find some suitable clamps into bumper/wing - they waifer thin side-ways on profile so wone spoil the look and even face on/from the rear being gloss black without any graphics/owt wont really notice them.
Mind you saying that if you car was very o.e looking i wouldnt bother with them.. only on modified/rally/track slag look cars..
Until i try it , it might look pap..

im planning on building a rally slag for a daily car just i cant find any decent ones for the right price

ive got a set in blue i think from a mrk2 sr rally car.
I will dig them out later and send you some pics.

use the 3mm flaps with alloy brackets. Rivet the brackets to the bodywork and cable tie the flaps on. Personally i wouldnt keep flaps on for regular road use
