Its a Crankshaft speed/position sensor and holding Bracket from a C16SEi I need the bracket more than the sensor I believe that the one off the C14SE engine is the samehttp://s995.photobucket.com/albums/af71/phunkferret/Vauxhall%20Nova%20rally-cross%20car/?action=view&current=MyNovarallycrosscar071.jpg

just make one out of a piece of ally.

make it look excatly the same as that, with three holes in it

3-4mm thick will be plenty

and is that standard set up?

no
as long as its close it will be fine.
and in line of course.

just have it a couple of mm away from the sensor and in line :)

So much for making your own bracket the if the sensor is not in the correct position ie in the clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation it will not run or run bad it must be perfect in line with the teeth and as you can not see the position of the magnet inside the sensor= fun time. and I only have photos to go off.(there is a oblong magnet inside the round sensor)

16SEi would be our "C16SE" with the earlier E16SE being a "C16SE" on the continent as far as i'm aware, if that helps your search at all!

only if it was so ...no the C16SEi is it's own type the sensor is at the front of the motor and run's with a Irmscher tuned ecu but still only 101ps..over here it was all so fitted in to the Astra F 1.6 Si.
