One concurs lol. The only thing I never liked was the fact you couldn't damage your car. I don't know if you can on the newer ones. I'm still on the 4th one on the ps2 lol

Had a quick look and the Super Dragger was an exhaust they made lol, My big brother had a 200sx with similar decals on it. It looked the bollocks lol. Yeah makes you woder whats under the hood of that Cav and why they used one hmmmm

Nah mate it's from an Anthony Reid site. I found it ages ago when looking for R&D pics. That's the same pic though. Guess there aint much info on it lol.
Guess HKS fettled a C20XE. Very much doubt it's a Swindon engine. I'd guess it doesn't run a reverse cylinder head etiher.

IIRC HKS still make the SD. Awesome exhaust. Mates got one on his s14a 200SX.

As for GT, I always hated the handling dynamics. The way you had to crawl around corners etc, and when the comp took control after you crossed the line and it would drop right down the 'box to corner. Annoying!

I was much more about my favourites, Colin McRae rally and Toca touring cars. One of the Gran Tourismo's was OK, rally tyres on a 900bhp RUF 911 is fun.

I prefer 'contact' in my driving games, even today lol

I have exhausted the entire internet looking for RML Primera pics. :( Never really look for others lol. I would reeeeally like to see the front inner wings and hub carrier malarky - get looking. lol

Yeah mate. That was a canny one. I posted my WIP on there but got told to remove it lol. Haven't bothered my ar$e to go back on RR since. They annoy me with their love of the bland and crap on occasion. lol

Toca 1 - awesome single and multiplayer (two linked PS1's and two tele's lol)

Toca 2 - better single and sh!t at multi (graphics really took a hit IMO)

I remember the first like it was yesterday :d Sliding over the grass at just the right point to avoid the hairpin and take the flag at Donnington GP. lol
Was an awesome game that suited my charge through the pack style to a T. :)

It will probably be like all the rest. Like the Cav isn't really a GSi. Just for advertising/sales reasons lol.

That Pug build isn't very old/long - he has the same works Mondeo spoiler as me but seems to like it more lol. good call on the TSW EVO R's. :)

That 806 is intriguing. I don't think I've seen the Speedline Chrono (iirc that's what they are) in 18" +. lol

I see a few people selling original DVD's on eBay quite a lot now, maybe finally there is a way to watch the 90's! without the need for VHS or the computer. lol

Got the PH link mate? I remember all the crap suggested that they had to adhere to in '10, move driver into more central position, fr & r suspension on adjustable subframes, FWD only, more standard OEM parts to keep the cost down, lower c02's etc. :(

I will still watch it when I can though as it's about the only form of non-contact contact racing around lol

Not sure if those are the cars in full livery or not yet as some look a little boring compared to usual.

Hopefully the stupid rules don't creep into BTCC too much, Formula 1 has proven that some things are better left alone as it has become quite boring due to all the technical changes being made.

So much for the FWD rule as well! Maybe that's next term, or scrapped altogether (better move IMO) There's barely any manufacturers in it to start with, without chasing away the Beemers.

Should make for some good racing I hope. There's a lot of impressive drivers in the line up. Wonder when it starts again. *reads*

the hks cav was a full btcc cav with a swindon engine, and it was used & i believe won the japanese super touring car series, jtcc

the pug 806 was raced in long distance events, like the spa 24hrs, and it basically had 406 super tourer running gear.

the 405 was run by peugeot GB on a shoesstring budget, and it was always in the top 10, but never really had the budget for getting any better...james thompson ran one in the independants & did very well.. the btcc 406 was never any good, cos peugeot france would never allow the team to use the good engines.....politics or something caused that.

On a serious note, did HKS ever actually do anything for a chavalier, aside from a universal DV which could be fitted to a LET? Or is this the touring car take on charvs donning their cars with a plethora of manufacturer stickers, not one part from which is actually on the car lol

it was run purely as a racing car program. the cavalier would not even have been sold in japan, but it was the best super tourer around just before the budgets went crazy, and gm had them in every major touring car series
