Ok, I have a drawer with around 8 or 9 In tank pumps and a hand full of external fuel pumps. How do I tell the difference between the SPi and MPi Pumps as at the minute I cant tell.

Annie you get internal MPI pumps on most Vauxhalls apart from Novas. Can use 'em with a Nova SPI tank to fit MPI engines.

I think the internal MPI tank is black plastic and a bit deeper than the SPI one above?!

Other way round mate the spi's are black plastic ones and the mpi's are metal ones like the one above and they are deeper by about 10mm like you said.:thumb:

Doh, Annie said that metal one above was an SPI so figured MPI must be plastic!

lol True mate just read her post whe i took my spi one out it was plastic and the mpi one was metal owing to the higher pressure they flow at.

Nar, a Bucket of water will do the same trick, it'll only be pumping for around a second or two to see which travels furthest. Well done you clever idiot. lol
