This one (http://www.pistonheads.com/SALES/1581799.htm)

It was originally built by a guy off here. I thought it was a 1.2? Unless that engine blew and was replaced...

Use the search and have a look for the build.

Yeh its definatey technical steve's and I'm sure its only a 1.2. I love the way the ad hints towards him building it and spending thousands. did't he sell it for about £400?!

I thought it was quite an impressive bodge when it was put together lol

On the topic of the turbo, generally a turbo is a turbo regardless if its from a diesel or a petrol, you will find as has been said that various cars on both fuels run the same turbos.

About 7 years ago I brought a g plate silver courtenay converted sr turbo. The car would mess about under boost so i decided to give Coutenay a call and they said they remembered building the car and would be happy to fix it. They had the car for about 6 weeks, charged me £1000. To say the least i was gutted as my 1.4sr with a webber felt quicker!

I called them back with my concerns and they were not the least bit interested and blamed it on the airflow meter, so i sent the airflow meter off for testing and it came back with the all clear. The car was running the irmscher injection setup.

its called low boost, trick fuel swtiches, std managment, a muslim in a wheel would of produced more power

I got a few pictures sent through of the car, engine didn't interest me, but thought with the low mileage, it would be a decent shell.
From the pictures it seemed the boot floor was creased, and painted black, arches are rotten etc.
