lol at being scared of cat c,cars are wrote off at 2/3 of their PRE accident value ie if a nova was worth £300 (in parkers etc not on png!)
Then it could ba a write off on £200 worth of WORK/PARTS which not necessarily means collossal damage.

TBH i dont bother hpi'ing anything over 5 years old, you look at it, if its straight clean etc i dont care if it has had a new tailgate or locks or someone has tried to do an insurance job on it.

Only found out a year ago mine was a cat C write off in 2000 it got written off for having a prang on the o/s front wing but no structual damage so just gos to show that they can be written off for very minor things.
