Saloon Project

Hi all, back again this time with a nova saloon. Some of you may know that a few years ago i had a G-reg (G946 DDG) blue nova merit 1.2 saloon. with Azev A Alloys on it. I sold this to a friend of mine and now do not know where it is. Well ever since i sold it i have craved another. Upon buying the Sport which is techincally my girlfriends. I started to get my love of novas back, and we all said it was only a matter of time. You know the story lol, So now i have purchased another Nova Merit 1.2 saloon. Its a bit rough around the edges and has covered 77k miles. its an F-reg in a silvery/gold colour. It has GTE? Alloys and clear front indicators. Its currently a non-runner due to head gasket failure, has NO mot and is taxed until 03/2010 .

Still for £75 i suppose i couldn't complain, and it was only 8miles up the road. I have many ideas/plans in my head but the Sport is my main priority so the Loon will be put back on the road as it is for now and then it will be modified as the Sport nears completion.

Pics are crap for now until i can take some more over the weekend. Feel Free to comment, Good or bad, it will soon take shape how i want it to be and will become my daily driver :D . Raw Nova 1.2 Power. I can't wait lol

Looks like a project mate.

Any pics of your old one with the azev a's on? They were gonna be my wheel choice on my old red turbo if I didn't sell it. Awesome wheels!

Hi mate, yeah they are ace wheels. i don't have any pics of my saloon directly, but i do have some pics of an old cav turbo i had for bits that was stoved in. You can see the nova in the background lurking with its Azev's on. i also tried on a set of 18" Wolfrace Asiatec warriors for a laugh. they rubbed the arches on slight lock lol

Saloon doesnt look a bad one bud, your old loon became mr Baxters on here and burgo currently has it as pretty much a bare shell, needs a bit of tlc but im sure if you cross his palm with silver you may have it back, possibly lol

ah thats interesting to know. Glad its still around, hopefully he will read this and offer it me back for a very low sum of ££ and we will be reunited once again. i will even refit azev a's to it lol

Thats Epic! . looks ace, its been mk2'd also, Never thought it would turn out that good. i nearly scrapped it at one point but it was FAR to good for that. Would love to have it back build into a weapon of desctruction on the track

Not a bad price considering. Get it back on the road is the first plan, then who knows. maybe a 1.4/1.6 16v engine to keep it useable as a daily runner.

Only time will tell i guess lol

Oh yes :D lol, It wasn't my cav at the time of the smash. i bought it for a grand off of a guy called Steve from yorkshire. It was reared by a mk.4 astra ...Gutted ! :cry:

Yes indeed i am. and yes that is a bad road for accidents. I was at that PV in my Cav Turbo. But it wasn't this one lol

Cheers fella.

Got two on the go now. really enjoying them. much easier/better to work on that newer stuff in my opinion. Starting to really get into my novas again. Thinking of buying a Diesel powered van as a work horse.
