Yeah i've done it.

Looks cool, but can be a ****. You do get a smell of fuel, getting a cap to fix can be hard (i have to cut my areofuel cap to bits.

But i do love the look.

i no i sounds daft but does the door still shut ok as it looks like it will catch,ive been thinking about this but unsure what cap to use ?

if you look closely the door latch sticks out around the same distance

I built mine in to the vent as it looked the neatest. And have it recessed so its totaly flush.

I use two bits of filler pipe (corsa) and part of the metal of the nova filler.

what filler cap did you use benn and what did you do with the overflow pipe sticking up ?

Was one of the Aerofuel caps.. As you can see above, it gave its life to fit.

The breather had to be moved, so it was cut welded, then re-drilled and welded.
