what do people think of banded steels im thinking about getting some on my nova its got wide arches and ive got about 9 inch clearance from inner to outer arch

dont be so gay.

it handles fine. running 7,5x14 banded steelies now, and i have no problems, and its a XE'd nova.

how much arch work?? lol, what width could fit on standerd/trimmed arches? 6.5?

Meh, big offset FTW lol

Ive found 7" at ET38 handles better on a Nova then anything ET40ish anyway.

its not bumpy at all, ride is spot on bar the obvious stiffness from coilovers a and front and rear strut braces

steering is spot on, never had any issues, arches rarely rub either.

yes its true, i am still alive (just lol)

hmmm what an awful idea fitting 8" wide wheels to a nova ;) lol lol lol lol lol

(although i must admit banded is not a preferred route, and having the correct geometery and set up to back them up is a must :thumb: )
