I am waiting for my new center pipe to arrive but courier service are complete ****S!
There is a small rust hole on my current pipe where it connects to the backbox, Where you attacked the U Clip, Is there any tempary fix i can use? As i started the car up and it cut out sounding like it was low on fuel and sounds very ill,
I NEED TO DRIVE THE CAR, As i have a test tomorrow and need to practise. It looks like i wont recieve my center pipe till next week now. So i need a tempary fix to patch it up or something? I dont need backbox or center pipe after as i have new parts on the way and will be chucking old bits.
ANY IDEAS?

Ill see what i can pick up :) Thanks guys,
They do, but leave it to dry for a while else your start it and it will just blow off.
Dont expect it to be perfect, it will blow and it will sound ****.
It wont be causing any running problems though.

Cut up an old coke can, wrap it round the part with the hole on and clamp it on, still use exhaust paste to seal the gaps :)

foil tape lol wrap it round plenty times.
im confused. you want to drive your car? but cant because you think this little hole is making it run like ****?
if thats the case your wrong im afraid, your exhaust could be in half and it wouldnt change how it runs
Thats what ive just told him on msn, Cars will run without exhausts, not perfectly ofc though.

last week i advised you to try a local tyre & exhaust place, cos they have daily deliveries on a big lorry from a central warehouse. thus there is no need for a courier of any description. and the item is there by the next morning.
who did you order one from??????
ps. i spent 7 years working directly in the vehicle parts trade so i actually know a few things about it, i now run a transport workshop as part of my job & am ordering parts all the time

you didn't have time to ring a phone number in your break????????
where were you expecting to take delivery then???
considering these places are usually open 7 days a week!!!

Mate i've been in jersey all week working, got back and had driving lessons, tomorrow i have my test, then on monday till friday ill be in liverpool :)
i give up....
there are so many places that can supply one of these pipes......
whatever you do for a job can't be so important that you don't have 5 minutes to get this sorted out over the phone.
i bet there are hundreds of places in liverpool that sell them, you could even have got one in jersey

next time buy a corsa as removing the back box from a standard system makes it sound no different :d
