Seperate door mirror covers?

How do you remove the door mirror covers to paint them on theNovas?

ive never done it but id presume they would just lift off? i masked mine up when i painted them, that way you havnt got to refit them and damage the paint.

I took the glass out, and then pushed out the bits inside, not that hard.
Im just not good at explaining it.

they just prise off but be gentle and prise them gently from the underside.
