Mine went in a skip at work lol along with a few other engine bits that didnt look right. Good engines tho, theyll do 100mph (just) an are quite nippy round town.

Yeah seriously, all kinda random bits i took of it, an it still worked. The engine management light was on from the evening of the 1st day i bought it, an never went off again :(
Mine had the EML on, changed the EGR and its gone, AFM is still funked though.
When i bought it the oil pressure sensor was unplugged, plugged it back in and the light came on, Somebody had put a screw into the end of it lol
Well i guess il update this, Since theres no updates on the nova.

I also changed the wheels, i couldnt be arsed buying tyres for the Tigra 5 spokes, so got these cheap, and i think they suit the car :D Old pic but its the only one ive got.

EDIT: I feel i should point out the reason for the badges/stickers, Its due to me removing the vauxhall, corsa and 12v badges, Which also took away some paint, so its in a effort to hide the ****ness of my car, But i need a shiney silver irmscher, and opel badge ideally. But heyho.
Also done a popular corsa mod, Cav RARB, Ment to transform the car, from what ive seen so far, totally agree!

I also did some other stuff, clean it up etc, changed since then.
ARB Will not go on a Nova, Nova beam between the holes already in the beam measures roughly 110cm iirc, a Corsa one is 116cm, same holes.

Trying to find myself some cheap shocks for this, pissed off with the funked ones.
Moo will be disappointed.
Finally got pissed off with the shocks, the noisy alternator, and the juddering that has started :roll:
Trying to sort some new brakes, just cant find what i want.
Keeps randomly misfiring, Yet to find the cause, but meh, only does it
sometimes.
One of the less major problems was engine movement, watching the gear stick was like watching muzzys cock on a friday night ;)
So armed with a brand new engine mount, i fitted it, and im surprised how much difference one mount can make, just need to replace the others now.

Got a new clutch to go in, also fitting pas (Update tomorrow on that), so the engine is coming out next week, few things will be painted, engine bay cleaned up, short shift kit fitted, etc etc etc.
Should point out i solved the juddering by changing the front and rear brakes, wikid!

Top stuff, them 1.0 12volts are wicked engines! Mine was fab!!
This is running ****e atm :( Hesitates to rev sometimes and seems to randomly intermittently misfire for a couple of secs. Plus the exhaust blows like funk.
Will have to wait until its on the road though.
think the hesitate to rev and also the misfire is due to the engine actually believing it has 4 cylinders instead of 3. :p
Silly engine.
lol Keep an eye out down the old 120 and you might see a 4th cylinder down there, always said something fell off on the way home lol

Got the bracket yesterday, still waiting on a couple of wiring bits.
Got the bracket mounted up, Just need to remount the reservoir somewhere (New pipe needed i think :( Unless anybody has any ideas?)

Excuse the cable ties, i had to tie up the reservoir to fill it full of fluid and give it a quick test (Unfortunately i used very thin wire so couldn't do a full test) All seems well though.
So anybody got any ideas on the reserviour mounting, i can only think of getting a longer pipe (Dont know how/where from though :( ) and mounting it on the turret as i had it before, but the pump has moved forward/up with this new bracket.

In work today i had to use sealer on a Nissam Almera back light, we used some tough-putty stuff thats on a roll, bloody good seal and doesnt go everywhere, just run it around the light, cna mabey try and blag you a roll? :thumb:

12v is working ok but needs some things sorting like the pas still, few other bits too and im starting to think about breaking/selling it.

Depends TBF, If i break the 12v il swap all the good bits onto the sport. If i dont, smoked side reps, depos, debadged grill and most of all, get some more fecking power out of it.

I havnt had a problem with ecowrecks yet, been ages since ive seen any 20XE's in scrappies or the like though, bit of tuning to a good eco will be enough for me.

Can deffo tell ive been using the 12v as there has been no updates on it lol
Got a new backbox coming for it, I fixed the pas pump, seems to be OK atm. Other than the suspension being harsh as ****, its not been too bad, 50mpg is nice.
As for the black sport, i need to do some engine work, already sorted the lifters, bottom end shells need doing too, got the bits through today so il try and crack on with that tomorrow providing i can fit it in all in with everything else i need to do.

PAS setup works, although isnt finished as i want to move the pump down a inch or so, also need to do the securing clamps that i havnt done yet. But its secure enough atm.

Motorway trips are nasty, down hill you overtake everything and then uphill your passed by everything you just overtook.
Mine was well quick up or downhill? We still managed a one'r in a 1.2 SPi with an Integra engine & box in the boot aswell, they weight about the same as a small house lol lol

Yeah it works, ive got it on a switch as the motor or pump are ****ed still though. If you fit pas to the gsi, that really will be just like when CG had it lmao
^I got a complete Corsa PAS rack, resovior & associated pipework here doing nowt if you need it. Scrapped the pump IIRC?

lol Its rear springs i want, i only had -40 rears with -60 fronts for sale, exactly the same setup that i run on this now. May PM you in a bit josh.
I don't know what I'm going to do yet, I'd like to repair the 12v because that will be the cheapest thing to do. I do have a couple of baby xe's laying around that i could lob in, but even they require some work (Building!), so there is a couple hundred quid needed.

It is indeed about the 12volt. 12v engines are expensive, its hard to find a good cheap one, i tried when i bought this car.
Right, i done the wet test, spoke to my brother and suggested i tried putting oil down it again and putting the plugs back in before trying to start it. Which worked, it runs, it even starts now. So, the piston rings must of just been a bit stuck? whatever its fine now.

Done the normal two bucket method, Clay, Polish and finally waxed. I just need to do the plastics and wheels now, Tomorrow.
I'm not normally/Never used to be a fan of bonnet lifters, But thought what the hell, There slightly win, slightly a pain in the ****, Bit of adjustment needed I feel.

They may go back onto it yet, Just need to find some more wheels for the black sport if I keep it.
what about colour coded bumpers? they wouls suit imo

I dont want CC'ed bumpers, IMO its the wrong colour for that. Just got a few small things planned for the outside, Not going mad with it.

lol I'll come clean, That is with no springs, Arches sat on the wheels, on the bumpstops.
Wanted to see how low it can go before rubbing/bottoming out, Got new springs coming this week, Want it between the first and 2nd pic, Depends how it drives etc.
what size of tyres are they?
195 50 15
45's would clear on the back and I could run it that low without mods.
Springs turned up, Seem alright. Haven't driven it yet though.
