I bought one last night just waiting on it to arrive

Just wondered if anybody has some decent pictures to see what the detail is like in the model ?

I already have the McRae Mk2 Escort - Got the Nova and I'm going to buy the Sunbeam whenever I next have some spare cash :thumb:

I bought the Escort Mk2 the middle of last year for £45 and I seen one on eBay there for nearer £80 lol

Just waiting on the Nova then I'll buy the Sunbeam :)

They dont look too bad tbh. Wouldnt pay £20 for one though - looks like the standard corgi 1:43 but liveried up and modded to look like a Mcrae model.

It's all now tooling. I looked at a preproduction example at RaceRetro, and that was a liveried up job.

The production one is supposed to be alot more detail.

As for quality, i'm very impressed. Cracking model, definitely worth the wait.

It would be brilliant if Minichamps did one of the McRae car, theyve already got the castings for a MK1 so it shouldnt be too much to ask.

Wouldnt fork out £20 for a Corgi though, the fancy box doesnt detract from the fact its still a corgi toy.
