igniton timeing

awryt the ingiton timeings out on my nova a can get it to nerly fire up and the it pops ave had it going but it runs ruff and then it dose not go but now its just poping agin n trys to go dose eny one have eny ideas :)

get car in neutral and turn crank pulley til the notch lines up with the pointer next to it, then remove dizzy cap and rotor arm wants to be pointing to Number 1 on cap, so turn the dizzy til its right, refit cap and make fine adjustments by ear

Have you access to a timing strobe gun?
If not set no1 piston to TDC on compression stroke + turn distributor so that its inline with no1 HT lead
That should be enough to fire it up + get it somewhere to time it with a strobe

do a line the roatry arm smack bang on point number 1 or slightly off it cheers :)

smack bang, then start engine and turn dizzy slowly by hand til it runs well without missing

awryt people i have got it runnign kind of and its running like a bag of nails so a moved the distrubter round a bit and it knocked it owt agin and i cant find it again could some one give me help lol cheers :)
