I never thought in a millions years k101 jug would still be alive and kicking considering how a previous owner (not hartley) took the phrase "straight over at the roundabout" quite literally.

just a few of the nova, cleaned her inside and out a couple of days ago....

I never thought in a millions years k101 jug would still be alive and kicking considering how a previous owner (not hartley) took the phrase "straight over at the roundabout" quite literally.

this would explain the bent rear beam /bent track rod ends / 3 wheel bearings shot/and camber on drivers front wheel looking at about 45 degrees
lol all these jobs rectified now but took a long time to find every thing that was bent . best one was rear stub bent like a banana. who owned it before me then and who tuck it into the scrap yard in boro :thumb:

well for every one that has ever owned k101 jug sadly after only running it for 5 months its eventualy dead once and for all .
tbh i think this car was bad luck for someone else and thats why it was scrapped it was cursed . things that went wrong in 5 months after a full rebuild
2x shocker tops smashed
then again 2x front shockers started leaking when they were like new
both rear shockers were replaced and with 1 month they were broke again
went through 4 rear n.s wheel bearing
2 front wheel bearings
bought 3 sun roofs and not one of them fit and they were all diffrent types
clocks kept playing up
2x alternators
3x gear boxes
changed the short drive shaft twice
had to remove engine twice as crank shaft oil seal was replaced properly but still wanted to leak and finaly the main bearing went and 2 weeks after doing it the drive shaft snapped then 1 day after replacing it some ****er in an audi was trying to force our lass and 3 year old son into a race and ended up forcing her off the road writting the car off completely . before anyone says aww you must just be a ****e mechanic ect ect lol all work was done 100% correctly every time the car just didnt want to know lol and by the sounds of the crashed its been in before there is no wunder someone just got sick and scrapped it .
so after all that hard work i have give up and stripped it again .

yea everyone was ok cheers . just a bit pissed off that the arsehole overtook pulled in quick before roundabout slammed on and made her swerv and crash the car then the cheaky **** drove off and didnt even stop
the front n/s corner is smashed right in needs chassis leg repair / head light surround / inner wing repair and the front strut turret has pushed up about 10mm breaking the spot welds . a mate of mine has bought the shell as i no longer want anything to do with it . just going to concentrate on my blue xe project .

ah yea lol and just to make sure i knew it was cursed my van has run fine all year and never missed a beat . so the other day i stripped the nova and put all the parts in the back of the van to take them home . get in van and it wont start lol eventualy get it running .drive it home spluttering its guts out remove all nova parts from the rear of van and guess what it runs fine again now . curse of k101jug strikes again
