blue/yellow is volts feed to dash or back of alt. 2 pin is usually a sensor on the end of the mainfold...

Stevie, depending what engine was in your car originally you may still have a lot of wires for the engine that was in.

It was a SRi wasn't it? im sure these had the ecu under the dash behind the glovebox and the engine loom was wired in amoung the car loom, where as the gte and gsi has a seperate engine loom if you follow me.

so depending if your original ecu is in place you may have a heap of wires left from it.

Usually all you need from the old loom is a
blue/white tracer for your alt
blue for your water temp on dash
black/red for starter motor
blue/yellow i think for the oil pressure light

There might be one i have missed but im sure someone will correct me
blue/green for oil pressure guage

Aye mate that's the Oil Pressure Switch - On yours it should have 2 pins but can't remember what colours go to them...
