Theres a particular car im looking at buying for a 25 birthday present for myself. (You guys at Sky cant insure me on it yet as im not 25 till February).

Anyway, hypothectically..... if I was 25 and I buy said motor & insure it through you guys, can I add a second driver to the policy who ia'nt 25 (well, wouldnt be 25 at time of purchase or policy start date)

I know its not sky mike, but my mate tried to add himself to a parents policy with an over 25's thingy, he was 23 and they said no:(

Mike, ask them to approach the underwriters for you...... I guy offered me a r33 gtr for a deal with an m3 I was selling at the time a few years back........ when I approached the insurers to check it out at first they said they wouldnt touch me however later spoke to the underwriters and got the ok due to a good record I had with them. Just a thought!

Nice one guys :) the person who im wanting to add to the policy isnt 25 until September (or december? cant remember lol) they might just have to wait it out thought lol

Hi Mike,

it is really hard to answer without knowing the specifics but if for example it is an Impreza, it would be strictly over 25's only, this applies to named driver and policy holder.
