question for the painters

Ive found a colour i want my nova painted in, by looks of it was only released on the evos in america as an added option when bought new on 09-2010 models.

Colour code is m08, however the guy painting my car has told me its an old colour and he doesnt have the tinters to mix up a small sample and would have to order the paint in.

Is it possible its coming up different due to it being an american colour code? Annoying because i really want to see this colour in the flesh before deciding. Also expensive getting it ordered in for it to be the wrong colour

It will come up different most likely, I phoned a mainstealer for a colour code I liked, and they had no record of it at all as it was american.

I have now found it, halfords had not record of it on their system. Managed to get a mate to mix it up for me and it looks like the right colour lol

Just need a gun to spray it now :(
