Getting fuel and spark on first turn did not notice that timing belt was a bit slack :tard:
It started for a second then nothing sounded like no comprestion. Tightened belt to proper tention as it did not move of its timing marks:eek: Still no joy will the valves be bent:confused: and for some reason theres no battery light when ignition is on looking for some ideas before i take head of

Take the top off and see if its snapped a finger, when mine had valve piston contact it just broke on of them and didnt bend a valve. no battery light,,, is the small wire connected to the alternator and is the alternator earthed out properly on the bracket?

where should the earth from alternator go 2

There should be an earth strap on the alternator bracket to the block I think. shouldnt affect it starting though
