i am fancying another trials bike but dont no what to get eather a monty 4rt or a gasgas raga replica is there any one one on here got a trials bike :thumb:

Depends on how serious you are, ive always wanted to take up the sport but never got the money or the time for it.

are the Raga's 2 stroke? Always preferred 2 strokes myself but haven't ridden a 4rt so cant offer that much advice.

Personall choice, my old toy was an aprilia climber, with the 280 rotax engine in!

Before that a ty250 pinky

And I learnt trials on a ty80 haha

My problem was balls lol, didnt like falling off!

Anything montessa is good imho, but tbf, i seriously doubt your good enough to outride a modern bike!

My brother is into his trialing and has owned a 4rt and now has a new (black) version montesa i think? Ill tell him about this thread so he can share his thoughts with you!

i rid trials for about 5 year then packed it in a couple of year ago and sold my bike since my bike went i wish i still had one whos youre brother because i beleave one of my mates is from rochdale and rides a black monty 4rt

Go for the 4rt. Gas Gas always break. The HONDA engine never breaks there awesome.

me and a few mates where into trials on push bikes, spent 1500 on my bike and its only got 7 gears and no sus!lol probly a lot more fun with an engine but im happy with my little cr 85 field rippa
