Am looking for some advice regarding my engine. It's the 1.2 carbed engine (can't remember code off the top of my head) and I think it's running very rich. The symptoms I have are:
Using a lot of fuel - ten quid lasting less than 100 miles even when driven gently;
Sometimes runs a little rough at the idle. This then clears when she is revved;
Is running cool. I know the thermostat is working as the fan switch engages the fan when I let her run for a long period when stationary.
If anyone has any theories or advice I'd be very appreciative.
