I must add i have never touched the engine?
What engine???
The only ones he would see from the outside of the engine is a head stud kit, but im not sure if you can get those for a 8v, if its a 8v
All bolts will stretch, unless its a head stud kit.
And no you wont have them. What engine?

If you dont 'know' about the bolts on your engine, my guess is you havent got them. Someone wouldnt spend £100+ on some head bolts & not brag about them.

The original bolts were regular hex shaoed, but for quite a few years now, replacement head bolts have been the torx type heads that could be mistaken for ARP's by a complete fool. Quite why an 8v would warrant ARP's anyway is beyond me.
Put a pic up, they are proper just the later type head bolts tbh! With the star (Torx) head

so i put read the title it states what bolts the guy ment!
If its a 8v you'll been either type of head bolt.(bolt or stud kit)
If its a 16v lump you wont seen them as they are finish inside the head.
So if it was a 16v lump you wouldn't see the bolts/studs and nuts at all.

it says head bolts!
And he asks about non stretch head bolts, the only ones that don't stretch are/is a stud kit. Which the thread started didn't know.. So he's using "head studs" as a generic term.
