polybush help

hi all, im looking to get some poly bushes for the nova im building, ive been on rallydesign and they have tca and tie bar poly bushes listed for 1.3sr and 16gte, are they the same size bushes as needed for a 1.2 mk1?

need to get hold of some soon as the car isnt far off its mot :d

don't the gte's have fatter tie bars? Im not 100% on the sr's but im sure the gte's did, I was wondering the same thing as I want some for mine and the rallydesign ones are pretty cheap.

Thats correct about the tiebars, I got some for my 1.2 & they are a little bigger, My dad soon sorted that he took them to work & shaved a few mm off. they now fit fine. Sounds cowboy but im sure you could do this with careful measuring, a vice & grinder lol

or just fit gte tiebars...

The tie bar itself would be thicker,but the mounting threaded part is most likely the same. As this is where the bush goes then should be ok.

hmm interesting, they are ordered now and the car is ready to be fitted with them so ill get some pics and some info on the fitting hopefully tommorrow if they are here on time and let you guys know how i get on.

Bushes arrived this morning from rally design as usual i had very very good service from them :D

The bushes they list are for a 1.3sr and 1.6 gte but i can confirm that they fit my mk1 1.2 just fine, not sure if there is any difference with a mk2 maybe someone else will know

i cant really comment on the handling difference as i've built the car up and haven't really driven it yet. I've made a few changes all at the same time including tracking and quick rack. All work done is in my project thread. Hoping to get it on the road this week so will see how it goes. They made a massive difference on my old corsa tho
