Not sure there is, but you used to be able to get the pierburg service kits, pretty sure I saw one of the genuine vauxhall ebay retailers selling them a while back.
The auto mechanism worked well from new. The Weber replacement 32/34DMTL is a better carb & manual if you decide that route.

the auto chokes **** on it lumpy idle when cold, Ive cleaned it no use, but i like having a manual choke, i just want it running nice and reliable as it will be a everyday car. When warm its great.just hate the lumpiness and cutting out when cold.

Thats carbs for you tbh. I dare say it could be sorted. Find a service kit & a mechanic that knows a carb from a diagnostic port & get it overhauled.

i can guarantee its the auto choke its been set up perfect its sweet as a nut when warm, id rather just find a manual choke kit for it

(redex ftmfw)

redex is sh1te used it a few time in my old metro did nothing to it but make it smoke!

best bet is take carb apart clean it all out, get hold of a service kit and it'll sort it out.

sorry i dont have any pics, but all i did was take of the auto choke - down to the lever underneth - and than bolted my cable on the the bracket in front (close to cam cover) then just just made a small loop in the cable and fitted over the lever.
its not sprung but i can get full range from no to full choke.
i only did it like this as a temp when it got cold, but has been working fine since so saw no need to change:thumb:
