The time has come to move on to bigger, faster rallycars and im looking at
breaking my nova rally car. We have campaiged this nova very succesfully over the past 10 years with many class and championship wins, we will be sad to see it go after its giant killing performances, sooo, im now gauging interest at the moment, with a view to breaking it over the next few weeks
1992 seam welded 3dr, trimmed bodyshell, was pro built many years
ago and has been a competition car all its life, comes with a V5 (nova base on logbook ) Msa logbook and currently mot'd til october
its fitted with a hockley plating kit, braised door and window appertures,
bulkhead removed, poly windows all round, double skinned chassis legs,
sill stands, dash fitted, varible epas, quick rack, fuse box removed,
multipoint bolt-in pilbeam/sd cage with X diags, forward triangulation, harness bar, welded seat rails, welded sumpguard mounts, carbon drivers
floor tray, corsa internal linkage,
10mm works alloy sumpguard, 1.0 fuel tank (no return), tank guard,
n/s/f inner arch modified to allow easier gear cluster removal,
(10 minute gearkit changes!!), painted in BMW dakar yellow,
cosmeticly challenged, but still very strong with plenty of life left in her £850
Quaife F10 straight cut, close ratio gearkit, built into a F13 housing, 0 kms since rebuild, gripper F13 plate diff, with F20side gears, 4.5 crown wheel & pinion, gp A driveshafts (found these unbreakable), and gpA
hubs/knuckles £1400
High compression, class 1 (upto 1400cc) engine, on its last rebuild we went for it and fitted mahle 1200cc pistons, shotpeened conrods, ARP bolts, fully
lightened and balanced bottom end, very nice big valve ported & polished cylinder head, uprated valve springs, kent ast2 cam that has been slightly re-profiled, baffled sump, high pressure oil pump, twin 40 webers, irmscher inlet manifold, filter king pressure reg, twin cable linkage, would benefit from a freshen up (rings, shells etc) but still a very strong, very revvy (9k) engine. £800
disc braked back axle, fitted with homologated R2 type
calipers, grooved discs, mintex 1144 pads, braided hoses
handbrake cable etc, ready to fit, £200
16v front brake setup, with new mintex 1155 pads, drilled and grooved
discs, braided hoses, £50
bias pedal box with remote adjuster, comes with a spare
rear cylinder (one fitted is weeping) £100
Bilstein rear dampers, pair of, very little use, £110
bilstein 2.25 front coilovers, hockley bodies, 190lb 12 inch springs,
alloy top mounts, recently rebuilt with new inserts, £400
lamp pod, fitted with two cibies and two marshall lamps, good
condition £100
This car is available complete for £4500 or will break if enough interest
once deposits have been secured for all the above items, this car has
many many bits fitted that i have not listed like twin facet
redtop pumps, upright hyd handbrake, alloy nav footrest etc etc
that will be listed once the main items have been sold.
