View Full Version : help please naming something
hey guys, i need a part,
on a strut brace you get those adjusters which you change the length of the strutbrace for a good fit.
the thing with a left and a right thread.
WTF are they called.
and a turnbuckle is close but not right lol
Windlass.. My dad thinks...
He thinks a turnbuckle is the more right name.
Turnbuckle
A metal coupling device consisting of an oblong piece internally threaded at both ends into which the corresponding sections of two threaded rods are screwed in order to form a unit that can be adjusted for tension or length.
