I might as well introduce myself seeing as i have now become a member. I'm Rich and am now on my second Nova, a Mk1 1.0 poverty spec model :thumb:

The plan was to partially rebuild it as when i bought it, it was lacking several components and was fitted with a non-running 20SEH and had no driveshafts. It was bought mainly for it being a hell of a lot more solid than the Mk2 i had at the time.
It now has a 1300 SR engine and 5 speed F10 as well as a few other goodies. Quite a few bits were swapped over from my previous Mk2 Spin. Hopefully it will be MOT'd and put on the road as soon as i have fully recovered from a leg injury, whilst i collect a few more bits for it :d
Over the last couple of months i have been looking into the possibility of renting a garage to do a full restoration/rebuild on the car as i only have a driveway. Hoping to start this in October/November this year. I have run into some good luck - a friend of mine who doesnt drive has a garage which is of no use to her so has offered its use to me.
The only cost will be to go halves on a skip (roughly £75 each) and then help to clear out some old furniture. Then the garage is mine to use for as long as i need for free :d and hopefully i can strip the car down to a bare shell and start a project thread.
