found out on friday my mate was goin to scrap his nova an he wanted £100 for it, so couldnt help meself an had to take a wonder down on saturday for a gander at it to see if its worth saving etc.


needs an arch on drivers side a new wing on passengers an crossmember me thinks.

shes a red 1 litre beast an is in fairly stirdy condition, had a few plates an that welded onto her but its a j reg with 107k on clock.

opend the bonnet expectin to beable see the floor through batt tray an is in decent nick, sills are strong had the odd plate welded on like needs some welds sorting out as you would prob catch your knee on em walking past.
shs not a "minter" but it will stop me smokin my money:thumb:

pick her up on next saturday £130 with wheels as set of 5

yeah mate not so keen on the red slats but im gonna have a think on roughly how i want it, dont want it too flash just want it looking fairly standard but not lol.

bought meself a 1400sr engine off me mate ash_jones on here for £50. already got a 4 branch manifold an exhaust system i saved from my last nova, also last nite i purchased some astra gte tear drops for £25 that are sprayed black. also theres a gsi bumper there i have the option to buy but the middle bits been cut out as a wide mouth style, would it be hard to mould another bit of a gsi bumper back to the bit cut out?

They dont look too bad mate... get some black painted mesh behind it..

im not that much of a fan of mesh if im honest mate but each to there own isnt it, thanks for the idea but think im gonna do the grill black an slatted, the bumper i ideally wanna mould it back to standard gsi

tbh youd probs be better off just waiting for a cheap gsi front bumper to come along.

i think the one your on about is an aftermarket one not a gsi one,
personally i would just but another gsi bumper :thumb:

nah its a gsi bumper just some nuggets cut it, why oh why hahaha
