New car time

Picking up my new main car on Tuesday night and its another ford:eek:

Trading in my 300bhp ST and parting with my cash for an ultimate greem Focus RS. Just to make sure i'm not getting too into ford though i bought another project nova as well to go with my flair project that hasnt been touched for months oopslol . I'll post up pics when the RS arrives and i'll try to put the new nova pics up tonight, its a 1.5td L reg already with leather andd cesaro alloys.

there are two snot colour RS's at the local Ford dealer, and they have been there for sodding ages.... is the RS just not selling well or something? Given the MK2/3 ST can be made faster (officially too) for less lol

The mod'd ST will only go faster in a straight line though point to point an RS will absolutely spank an ST plus if you put all the stuff on a like for like new ST its hardly any cheaper, you save about five grand but you still dont get the revoknuckle suspension or the limited slip diff, the better seats, etc etc.

A few are still sitting but i think it seems to be the crap fuel economy plus dealers with high prices holding onto them, my local dealer have sold 15 so far and are waiting on more coming in.

The ST actually sounded great as it had the 3" exhaust and a 100 cell sports cat so the RS is actually quieter. I'll need to be ordering the 340 ggr kit for it when it arrives as well to make sure i keep the mod'd ST's at bay as well:thumb:

Pics will be up after I pick it up tommorrow night. The 340 kit is one of the smallest there is also a 370 and a 385 kit available but they cost something like 4 grand I think

about freaking time they were working on it when I had a play in an RS in Jan last year.... mind you they have probably been mullering engines and gearboxes lol. Plus seamens/bosch arent exactly the fastest peopl in the world to turn a calbiration round for legit software lol.

My mate has a white one already its stunning but the green stands out so much more and it really sparkles when the sunlight hits it plus you know its an rs from miles away when its green

The RS has some road presence, I think they look very smart in both green and white. Quite a few going about here too.

It depends on whether you get a lux pack or not, standard i think its a ford single cd player, lux pack one has a sony DAB cd player and lux pack 2 has the single cd player with the built in sat nav and the reverse camera.

It is a nice colour that, wasn't keen on these cars at first (although there isn't many new cars I am keen on, old skool ftw lol) but I'm starting to like them, cant argue with their performance and cornering ability.
