i was doing some snooping on some drag converter sites and what not, like this one
http://www.turbofast.com.au/Drag.html
and got me thinking, theres a drag event coming up soon, and im wondering what to expect so i can decided on a class(they go by times) at the last event it was pissing rain, non treated surface(airport runway) i had no diff, and was one ****e tyres, best i got was 14.1. i had a trap speed of 115 mph. running a fairly std LET at .8 bar
i no now have a diff, new injectors, fpr, xe inlet, running 1 bar. car now weighs 837 kg's, and hoping for some dry weather:cool: so what sort of times should i be looking?
edit: running a cr f16 dunno what ratio exactly will only do 138. thats limiter in 5th

Have a nose in this (http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88515) thread, there's a few LET times in there.

depends on the driver, the track, tyres etc etc but with youre spec's a 12.8 would be normal.

neither did i, but its taking a serious hammering. i snapped two input shafts on f20's with this engine and this f16 has been going for over a year now. i rebuilt it before fitting with a daewoo input shaft as a heard there slightly different material, no proof of this of course but its going welllol

for some reason f16 boxes last longer then f20..

maybe due to the fact that most f20s are abused, and a f16 from a grandpa cavalier never took abuse?

Luck of the draw tbh, some people break f16s/f20s with a std xe
