If any of you guys are currently going for a mortgage/remortgage, hire purchase car or crap like that it might be worth taking a peek at your present credit report.

Link below, print it off, fill it out send it back to Experian (One of the 3 ONLY companys in the UK who offer this service) itll cost you £2 cheque/postal order, none of this £20 a month BS advertised on the net tv :thumb:

Takes about 10 working days.

i use that annual credit report and its instant. but i still cant get nowt:(

I used experian a while ago.. that was a complete nightmare to cancel after I found out what I wanted

Exactly why you should have used that form lol

Its not the direct debit monthly BS :thumb: its a postal order, no bank account numbers are sent to them ;)

Mine is perfect in everyway but they still wont raise my credit card limit from £3500 to £5k although other company will offer me a £20k card, i hate banks!

i use annual credit report, you can only use it once a year but you get what you need to know, its free...if you get the code sent through the post anyway

although annual credit report and experian won't mess your credit rating up, as your doing a search on your own credit rating, some companies will, i.e a broker thats just acting like a credit reference agency, when really they could just a random company seeing if you can get credit
