Need some help trying to get an engine going

I built up an engine which consists of a 1400 bottom end, 1200 head, 16sv cam and 1.2 carbeuretter.

I know thats a bit of a mix and perhaps a lot of compression but it should still run shouldn't it?

I have it all built up, its getting both fuel and spark but no joy. I have the leads on the dis cap as 1,3,4,2, isn't this right?

check a haynes for which lead goes where on the dizzy cap. ive fell for that in the past...
